About
Drawing has always been a large part of my identity, even before I recognized my true passion for it. Drawing was my escape from reality, my safe haven from myself and my anxieties. It has been my constant, the one thing in life that I can always rely on.
My style is very flowy, decorative, feminine, and oftentimes gives off a sort of eerie vibe to it. I enjoy details and am drawn to the whimsical. I look at art as a way to not only express myself, but also as a way to tell a story. In a way, it’s my story. I am on my own journey of self discovery, not only as an artist, but also as a person. As a result, I am experimenting, trying to find my niche, and am continuously growing from it. As a result, I feel a connection to my pieces, confliction even. I see this as part of my personal process, and I want this to be apparent.
I consider myself to be a traditional artist, as I have a love for drawing and painting. I love the entire experience of using traditional media. For me, inspiration comes from the storytelling element that words cannot describe. It is because of this that narrative is so important to my current work. I want to tell a story with images in a way that words cannot.
